Yes...well....I know it has been over a month since I updated...but let me tell you it isn't for lack of wanting to. I am being crushed under a large number of papers that need to be written, and I am drowning in a sea of what I find to be uninteresting subject matter. *sigh*

My solo exhibition opened on April 4th, and I have already sold a few pieces! It is very exciting to finally sell some work at a "normal" price, since nine times out of ten if I am friends with the person who is buying a piece I tend to knock the dollar amount down. I sold these two paintings so far:

There are four more pieces in the exhibition, and hopefully I will sell at least one more

Aside from that, once get over this heap of paper writing, I will be finished with my bachelor's degree...which is strangely scary. I am glad to be finished, don't get me wrong...but man...now I have to seriously consider graduate school. Which brings me to the next update:

We are definitely moving to Las Vegas in the summertime! If any of you are Vegas deviants, let me know so we can meet in person! We will be stationed at Nellis AFB, and I am going to attempt to go to graduate school at UNLV. Apparently my current Art History professor knows the painting head there, so maybe I can get a little extra help with being chosen.

So finals are done soon, and we are relocating, but in-between there will be much celebration and sadness, because I will have to say goodbye to many good friends that I have made here in Alaska. *sigh* Such is the life of a military wife I suppose.

So...how is everyone else doing?
I seriously want to know...I just do NOT have time to keep up with DA right now.
